From Council for a Livable World
Dear Friend,
Campaigns frequently come down to the last few minutes, those extra doors knocked or phone calls made.
Tomorrow’s election is no different and Council for a Livable World is going the extra mile for a candidate that will bring common sense and progressive values to Congress: Don Beyer.
Don is the Commonwealth’s former Lieutenant Governor and served as President Obama’s ambassador to Switzerland. He is also a member of the board of directors of our partner organization – the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation.
He’s a true champion for Council for a Livable World’s mission to bring a realistic national security agenda to Congress that focuses on diplomacy, engagement and sensible and strategic military investments.
Be sure to vote tomorrow. Polls are open from 6AM to 7PM; find your polling place here.
Don has spent his entire career advancing the progressive agenda; it’s time to bring his experience and commitment to diplomacy to Congress.
Sincerely,
John Isaacs & Guy Stevens
