Mame Reiley had a great heart. She served tirelessly and relentlessly for those she loved like Hillary Clinton and Jim Moran. She was loyal and steadfast. Her friendship embodied the old Theodore Roosevelt adage, “It is better to be faithful than famous.”
I was fortunate to know the friendship of this strong woman and benefitted from her wisdom as recently as the last few months as she served on my campaign’s kitchen cabinet. From the Democratic National Committee to the Commonwealth of Virginia, Mame Reiley has left her mark and her death breaks our hearts.
